Dear Mr Cameron,

Can we move on yet? As a nation bedevilled by divisiveness and deeply institutionalised prejudice and racism, led right from the top, isn’t it time you just grew the hell up?

Your government is the most overtly divisive government in our history. Let’s not forget George Osborne’s conference speech in 2012 where he said, “Where is the fairness, we ask, for the shift-worker, leaving home in the dark hours of the early morning, who looks up at the closed blinds of their next door neighbour sleeping off a life on benefits?” Inciting divisiveness, if not outright hatred, in a conference speech in such an inflammatory way is just par for the course for you Tories.

Let’s get the plebs hating each other so that you can get on with privatising our NHS, flogging off our state assets as never before, carving up our education system for privateers, devastating our front line services, driving millions into poverty, attacking the most vulnerable people in society, robbing women of their pensions and so on. You know, all the important stuff that you’d rather we didn’t notice whilst we get on and just hate each other and Muslims and ‘swarms’ of refugees and disabled people.

Remember the Home Office racist vans? They didn’t last long and were banned by the Advertising Standards Authority, but they didn’t have to last long, the damage was done. You can’t put the genie back in the bottle.

Your big headline conference banner, ‘FOR HARDWORKING PEOPLE’, was just another divisive ploy promoting a two tier society and millions of second class citizens.

The latest row on anti-Semitism is just another ‘dead cat on the table’, Lynton Crosby’s favourite political party trick, but it’s turned into a feeding frenzy taking nearly everyone’s eye off the ball. Unlike your party, Labour is actually doing something about the allegations whilst you continue in your sordid revelling in divisiveness as a cover for dismantling and asset stripping the nation.

Anti-Semitism row: Do YOU know who originally said “Everything Hitler did was legal”?

Nobody bothered to check who created that “anti-Semitic” image Naz Shah retweeted, did they?
